I'm making a new Deviantart account. Mostly because I'm tired of this one's name and am not, nor do I wish to be, an empress. I might have named it frabjanks (my email) since that name was free but it doesn't fit my art style. Maybe if I was a funny cartoonist. So I had to go with the random fancy looking fantasy name. Of course. ^-^

I almost went with Aeiresctheindira, my longest and least pronounceable character name. (She's an ancient immortal phoenix, she has to have a crazy name!) But I went with Eirescei. AIR-ESS-AY. Sounds vaguely like Erikacraig. But not really. You can find it here though it doesn't have anything on it right now.

I keep forgetting to put my new signature on things. xP And I really, really need a working scanner. It's getting ridiculous.

I wonder if I should put any of my other stuff on here...
-I have pictures of me in the dresses I've made: my senior project which I designed and my renaissance outfit. <3 They're already on facebook anyway.
-I have some photography from last year (but most of the cool ones are of my friend). Thefoxylady, may I plaster your face all over the interwebs? >.>
-I have a few short stories and some really old poems, but I don't know what I'd want to put up here. ^^'
-I have some funny stupid Flash animations, entertaining though badly drawn. Me trying to make arts with compooter. Not working. Beautiful grammar right there. Don't you want to read my writing now? Okay, I'm gonna stop typing things.

Yeah, I'm writing in my journal now...

I am currently very busy, and have not drawn any of my colored pencil characters or anything like that in a while. I'm an Art major in college now, so...I'm still doing art every day Monday through Thursday! Except now most of it is school stuff.

I've posted my Life Drawing portfolio from my first semester, for lack of creative work to post. I'm still quite proud of it, though. And I have another drawing class this semester, and hope to do a much better self-portrait soon...

And now I'm doing painting! So exciting! I haven't painted since I was 11, but paint is now my bestest friend again. My first project, a replication of a Renaissance painting, is turning out amazingly so far. Yay, messy, pretty paint...! I'm excited to apply them to my own style in the future.

(EDIT) More updates. I just bought Adobe CS4, which means...Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and all those wonderful programs will now be mine! Animation, digital art, graphics and such...! Even more arts to make!

Also, just something I thought was cool. Really famous artist guy, Leroy Neiman, came to my class. And complimented MY painting. Sure, other people did too, but it made me feel special.
